Jeffrey Dietzel, J.D.

Jeff was born in Gillette Wyoming, but grew up mostly in Southern Illinois as the son of a mining engineer. He moved back to Wyoming in 1999 to attend the University of Wyoming in Laramie. While working on his undergrad he joined the Wyoming Air National Guard and still serves as a C-130 aircraft loadmaster. He remains a committed Guardsman and has flown on missions from airdrops in Afghanistan to fire-fighting in Idaho.

Jeff finished his undergrad in the College of Agriculture and then took a few years off from school after marrying his wife Shelby. He then returned to the University of Wyoming and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the College of Law in 2012 and has since been admitted to practice law in Wyoming and Colorado. He has worked with the District Court in Cheyenne and the Attorney General’s office in Denver, CO. Jeff and Shelby continue to enjoy living in Laramie with their two dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman who looks forward to spending several days fishing with his wife each summer and chasing elk in the mountains each fall.
